Pink eye or conjunctivitis is passed around frequently with school aged children and it can be quite the nuisance. Your eyes can be itchy, watery, sensitive to light, red,and/or burn. They can also produce a yellow discharge that can seal your eye shut temporarily if the pink eye is bad enough. Pink eye is definitely treatable but there are different kinds of conjunctivitis and your doctor can help you determine the best way to treat it. Make sure you wash your hands, clean your contacts, and try not to share personal items with others and you should be just fine! |
